Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
When you use eCVmaker, your resume file and form inputs (job title, industry) are sent to our server solely to process your request. They are held in memory for the duration of the API call and then immediately discarded. We do not write your resume text to a database, log file, or any persistent storage.
2. Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure aggregate traffic (page views, session duration, device type). GA4 does not receive your resume content. You can opt out via your browser's privacy settings or a GA opt-out extension.
3. Advertising
Free-tier pages display ads served by Google AdSense. AdSense may set cookies to personalize ads based on your browsing history. You will be presented with a consent choice when you first visit, in compliance with GDPR (EU/EEA users). See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles ad data.
4. Payments
Pro subscriptions are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. eCVmaker never sees or stores your card details. Paddle's privacy policy governs payment data.
5. Third-party AI
Resume text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate optimized documents. Anthropic processes the text under their API Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Anthropic API inputs are not used to train models by default.
6. Your rights
Because we do not retain personal data beyond the lifetime of a single API call, there is no stored data to access, correct, or delete. For any privacy questions, contact hello@ecvmaker.com.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted by updating the date at the top of this page.
